Custom concrete planters can be wide and low, tall and tapered, or long enough to define a terrace. The right proportions depend on the plants and the space. 1Contour helps develop the concept, with fabrication reviewed by HSH in Lisbon, Ohio.
Design around what will grow.
Tell us what you intend to plant and the usable planting volume you need. Include the outside dimensions, preferred opening and whether the planter sits on soil, paving, a balcony or an indoor floor. A planted vessel weighs more than its empty shell, so support capacity needs to be reviewed for the actual location.
Drainage outdoors, containment indoors.
Outdoor drainage holes, base clearance and water flow need to be planned. Indoor designs need an agreed liner or water-containment approach to protect the room. Finish and sealing choices should be confirmed for the intended use; a concept rendering does not establish waterproof performance.
Can I choose the texture and color?
Share your preferred finish and reference photographs. Printed concrete has visible layers, and fine flutes or sharp details may need adjustment to suit the deposition process. Ask for a physical finish sample before approving the final appearance. Size, material use, finishing and freight determine the quote.

From a 30-inch-wide tall vessel to a 72-inch-long trough, our collection offers different starting points for Ohio gardens and entrances. Choose a form for its planting space and access requirements as well as its appearance. Tell us about the plant, irrigation, drainage outlet and any liner you intend to use. Final wall, base and handling details require manufacturing review.
Planter prices and delivery.
Current garden planter candidates range from $1,250 to $2,340, plus tax and shipping. The smaller 48 × 12 × 12 inch window ledge planter is $530, plus tax and shipping. These figures use modeled quantities and provisional production settings; they are planning prices for natural concrete, subject to review.
