Who arranges delivery?

Our manufacturing partner HSH coordinates freight from Lisbon, Ohio. Delivery is quoted for each project after the packed dimensions, weight, destination and unloading needs are known. Our current focus is Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. Availability outside those areas needs an individual review. Catalog prices are plus tax and shipping; a freight amount is not included in the displayed item price.

Why there is no flat shipping price.

A small vessel and an eight-foot bench have different handling requirements. Crating, total shipment size, vehicle access, lifting equipment and the distance to the destination can all affect the plan. A mileage number alone cannot describe the full delivery scope. We ask HSH to confirm the appropriate option rather than promise a universal rate or free delivery.

Arrival is different from placement.

Confirm whether the delivery offer covers transport only, unloading, or placement at the final location. Do not assume that a truck delivery includes carrying the item across a garden, moving it through a house, assembly or installation. If a crane, forklift or other equipment is needed, agree on who supplies it and whether the site has suitable access before booking freight.

What to measure before requesting delivery.

• Delivery ZIP code and whether the address is residential or commercial.
• Driveway width, overhead clearance and available turning space.
• The narrowest gate, door or corridor on the route to the final location.
• Steps, slopes, soft ground and any surface that needs protection.
• Available unloading equipment and the person who will receive the shipment.

Photographs of the full route are useful. Share measured clearances rather than relying on a wide-angle photograph.

Large objects may need separate sections.

A modular design can make transport or access more practical, but joints, alignment, anchoring and assembly must be designed. A concept that looks continuous may still be delivered in separate pieces. The manufacturer needs to approve the sections and handling approach. For indoor tables and seating, discuss floor loading and movement through the building with your project professionals.

Before freight is booked.

Confirm the final model and dimensions, packed weight and size, delivery address, access information, unloading responsibility and contact details. Ask for the freight scope in writing, including any additional services and what happens if site access changes. Production timing and dispatch dates remain subject to the manufacturer’s confirmed schedule.
