How is delivery priced?

For the 11 priced catalog designs, enter a five-digit ZIP in the guest order flow to see an estimated delivery charge. The current estimate is $10 per one-way road mile from ZIP 44432 in Lisbon, Ohio, using ZIP representative points. For example, a 100-mile route would add about $1,000 in estimated delivery to the item price, before applicable tax; your actual estimate depends on your ZIP. The item price, delivery and applicable tax are shown separately before card authorization. For custom sizes and unpriced designs, ask for a project-specific delivery review. HSH handles manufacturing and freight coordination from Lisbon, Ohio; unloading, placement and access are confirmed during maker review.

Why a ZIP estimate still needs a site review.

A mileage estimate does not describe your exact driveway or the route to the final spot. Total shipment size, vehicle access, unloading equipment and placement can change the plan. Any added charge needs customer approval. The quoted delivery includes agreed unloading and placement. Installation is excluded and costs extra under a separately approved quote.

Delivery includes unloading and placement at an agreed accessible location. The location and access route are confirmed during maker review. Placement means setting the piece down at that location; it does not include fixing it to a building or connecting services. Share any stairs, narrow gates, indoor routes, soft ground or lifting-equipment requirements before approval. If access changes the delivery plan or price, we request your approval first.

Installation is not included. Wall hanging, mounting, anchoring, foundations, on-site assembly, plumbing, electrical connections and commissioning require a separate scope and quote. Any installation or additional access work costs extra and requires your approval before it is arranged. Ask for an installation quote before ordering if you want a frame hung, a piece anchored or a water feature connected to pipes.

What to measure before requesting delivery.

• Delivery ZIP code and whether the address is residential or commercial.
• Driveway width, overhead clearance and available turning space.
• The narrowest gate, door or corridor on the route to the final location.
• Steps, slopes, soft ground and any surface that needs protection.
• Available unloading equipment and the person who will receive the shipment.

Photographs of the full route are useful. Share measured clearances rather than relying on a wide-angle photograph.

Large objects may need separate sections.

A modular design can make transport or access more practical, but joints, alignment, anchoring and assembly must be designed. A concept that looks continuous may still be delivered in separate pieces. The manufacturer needs to approve the sections and handling approach. For indoor tables and seating, discuss floor loading and movement through the building with your project professionals.

Before freight is booked.

Confirm the final model and dimensions, packed weight and size, delivery address, access information, unloading responsibility and contact details. Ask for the freight scope in writing, including any additional services and what happens if site access changes. Production timing and dispatch dates remain subject to the manufacturer’s confirmed schedule.
