What can you use for early budgeting?

Three standard open-base planters have published overall concept dimensions and item prices. They can be ordered without an account, subject to maker review. The listed price covers the concrete vessel; tax and estimated delivery are separate. Ask us to scope plants, soil, irrigation and placement separately.

Which technical details need confirmation?

Overall concept dimensions and item prices do not establish a final construction specification. Before procurement, ask 1Contour to review the exact geometry, planting or drainage arrangement, finish, final weight, handling points, reinforcement, anchoring, tolerances and production schedule for your project.

If your specification requires compressive-strength or freeze–thaw results, a load rating, an ASTM test, or sealed structural drawings, identify that requirement in your brief. 1Contour does not publish a general value or certification for those properties. The maker must confirm what documentation is available for the proposed piece before it is written into a project specification.

For a planter on paving or an indoor floor, the open-base standard designs are not a sealed vessel. Discuss a different base and drainage plan before ordering. For seating or public-space use, tell us the expected use and any project code or engineering requirement so it can be reviewed before a price is finalized.

What makes a useful project brief?

• Object type, quantity and intended use, including whether people will sit or stand on it.
• Target overall dimensions, site plan and any required clearances.
• Planting, drainage, water or electrical needs, if applicable.
• Finish reference images and any project-specific performance requirements.
• Delivery ZIP code, access-route photos, narrowest opening, steps and unloading constraints.
• Target decision, production and installation dates.

How should you plan delivery?

For standard Bowl, Flute and Ledge guest orders, the site estimates delivery at $10 per one-way road mile from ZIP 44432, based on representative ZIP points. The exact route, packed size, unloading equipment and placement need review. Do not assume a freight quote includes installation. Changes to the charge require your approval.
